I have been diving since 2005 in diving center NAUTICO. My current certification is AOWD + Advanced Nitrox / Decompression procedures TDI. Approxymately after my 1st year of diving I have bought an underwater camera Motormarine (analog) to be able to document divesites that I visited. Very soon I realized, that considering my artistic skills, analog camera would ruin me and therefore I crossed to the digital world. My second camera was 5 megs Sea&Sea. After his flooding I have bought Ricoh and since that time I take UW camera on every single dive. With growing experience I decided to get a digital reflex camera Nikon D-200, that has become my buddy on my travels. Mostly I like to capture the history presented by wrecks as silent witnesse of its age. Though I don't avoid macro shots, which I take as pleasure relaxing dives.
My current setup: Nikon D-200 in UW housing IKELITE (adequate to my dives), lenses TOKINA 12-24, NIKKOR 10,5, NIKKOR 105 (macro) and NIKKOR 17-80, two strobes IKELITE DS 200 on arms IKELITE, 2x strobe SUBTRONIC Gamma 270 and external Hartenberg 625. I like photos from Petr Vaverka, Radoslav Husak and others, who use external activated strobes and therefore I'm experimenting with that - even though still a bit unsuccessfully :-)
